I had an very nice stay at Maison D'Hotes Dar Fatima. Even before arriving in Tozeur, the owner, Taieb, was in touch to help me plan my trip throughout Tunisia. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with delicious homemade strawberry juice and pastries. The house is spacious and my room was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The food at Maison D'Hotes Dar Fatima was amazing - traditional Tunisian cuisine cooked with the best quality ingredients. Breakfast was a delight with fresh fruits, homemade bread, and flavorful jams. Taieb also organized a full day tour of the region around Tozeur and a night in the desert with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. my experience at Maison D'Hotes Dar Fatima was lovely.
It was a bit challenging to find the guesthouse as there is no signage and taxis may not know the location. payment was only accepted in cash, which might be inconvenient for some guests.

The room was clean and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious. The host was very hospitable and went above and beyond to offer us a tour at a minimal price to visit many locations we wanted to see in the area. The host was also happy to offer helpful information about the area and trip planning. The location was quiet and easy to access by taxi.
The hotel was difficult to find for taxis due to a lack of signage, so it’s recommended to communicate with the owner before arrival for directions. Payment by card was difficult, so prepare to pay in cash.

Spent Christmas at a guest house and it was cozy, perfect for a winter getaway. Location was breathtaking, surrounded by amazing landscapes. Hosts prepared homemade traditional food that was delicious and affordable. Family room was comfortable with a traditional feel.
Limited activities on-site, had to travel to nearby town for more options. Breakfast was not included in the price.
